Caleb's pick: My wife and I do much of our shopping online, which is great. However, our PO box is usually crammed full of catalogs from the online vendors we use, which drives me nuts. It's a waste of paper, a waste of fuel to ship them and a waste of my time to deal with them. Once they enter our house, they languish on the counter or collect in the corner... Enter CatalogChoice.org, a site that allows us to create an account and opt out of catalogs quickly and easily. |

Marketing Partners has always been committed to helping not-for-profits and government entities achieve their goals through social marketing. We approach social marketing from its traditional roots: the systematic application of commercial marketing techniques to achieve a social good -- an approach that benefits the people who are adopting the behaviors or society as a whole, rather than the organization doing the marketing. Although social marketing has become all but mainstream and many firms now claim to use this approach in their work, we were advocates of social marketing from our inception in 1992. In the past, social marketing was often confused with cause marketing, but more recently the rise of social media marketing has created confusion. (Check out Social Marketing, Not to explore the differences.) |
