Caleb's pick for exercise-related iPhone app: RunKeeper I've recently gotten back into running, and I have tried a few iPhone apps to track my runs. The best one I've found is RunKeeper, which maps your run and gives you stats on speed and pace from different points throughout your run.
I use the free version (for now), which is pretty rich in features, but is lacking one feature of the paid version that's appealing: A voice telling you at set intervals what your pace is. Both versions upload your runs to the website, so you can view your stats from your computer. Does it make running easier? Unfortunately, not really. But it does make it easier to track your progress. |
