Peg—PR maven, writer, and co-founder of Marketing Partners—provides PR insight and strategy from behind the scenes, serving in an “of counsel” role to our clients.
She was a writer from an early age, and through the years worked as a reporter, health educator, consumer health publication producer, and as communications director and a staff assistant for former Vermont Senator Robert Stafford. That may be where she honed her ability to listen intently before quietly voicing a few words – or quickly writing a few – to move the issue at hand to a whole new level.
Peg is a founder of Vermont Businesses for Social Responsibility, a former president of the Alzheimer's Association Green Mountain Chapter, a former vice-chair of the Vermont Land Trust board, and serves on the board of the Special Services Transportation Agency. For five years she also served as a commentator for Vermont Public Radio. She came to social marketing through her desire to use her communications skills to help groups working for public benefit. She has served as a consultant to numerous corporate CEOs, public servants, and community groups. Peg holds a degree in health education and communications from the University of Vermont. Her experience includes extensive experience in use of electronic and print media, including the production of videos, radio and television ads, satellite broadcast news releases, print and photo wire services and online communications.
