Amy brings her diverse media and event planning background (as well as her sense of fun and passion for her work) to her role as media planner on our team.
You could say advertising is in Amy's blood. Her father owned his own agency in Albany, N.Y., and she has worked in the industry since college. Her lifelong involvement in theater and improv took her from Chicago to New York before settling in Vermont over 5 years ago. Now most of her days are as an audience member as she watches her three young daughters entertain her. She and her husband spend most of their time outdoors, hiking, biking, and running with their girls and their chocolate lab, Maggie. As avid music lovers, they do still occasionally get out for a live show. Amy also enjoys cooking, reading (when she has a minute), movies, and reading the entire newspaper on Sunday mornings.
Amy’s tenacious search for the optimal match of marketing or media vehicle and client audience translates bulletproof research into creative and effective action for social marketing and business-to-business clients. Her win-win negotiating skills were honed first at Digitas Internet Advertising and then handling events, promotional advertising, and merchandising tie-ins for ESPN The Magazine in New York City. Amy earned her bachelor’s degree from LeMoyne College.
