Alec enjoys flexing both his design chops and his nerd muscles in his role on our team as senior graphic designer, digital guru and creative factotum.

Alec's graphical resume includes eight years of programming and design at the Vermont Cancer Center, preceded by an eclectic career at DiRAD Technologies, the University of Maryland, Bennington College, and as a freelance designer and programmer. A similarly diverse pattern of education emerges with a B.A. (math, computer science, music) from Bennington College, an M.A. in liberal studies from City University of New York, and an M.A. and Ph.D. track studies in philosophy from the University of Maryland.

Alec brings this clearly supple and collaborative creative mind to our clients' projects, in addition to an alphabet soup of digital geek skills — php, css, cms, sql, .net, flex... and more.

Or watch the local music listings for a performance by the jazz-funk quintet Fragile Zoe, where Alec contributes as guitarist/composer while his wife, Patricia, contributes as flutist.
